New sustainability role for Flowserve

Flowserve has appointed Lars E. Rosene as chief sustainability officer in addition to his current role leading global communications and public affairs.

In his new role, Rosene is responsible for driving the implementation and management of Flowserve's sustainability and social responsibility efforts, while continuing to maintain oversight of the company's internal communications.

“Our sustainability and social responsibility efforts in support of our customers, employees and the communities where they live are a top priority,” said Lewis Kling, Flowserve president and CEO. “Lars' commitment to supporting these key initiatives [includes] environmental impact, workplace safety, recycling, energy efficiency and philanthropy initiatives.”

“Flowserve has a long history of bringing innovation to our industry and we will continue to apply that same commitment and spirit to our global sustainability efforts,” said Rosene.
