The US$11.65 million order is for a complete electrical and mechanical package for the circulating water system and seawater intake systems at the Coastal Energen thermal power plant near Tuticorin in Tamilnadu, India and includes pumps, controls, engineering, computational fluid dynamics, sump model studies, start-up and commissioning.
“This order is confirmation of our progress in India to build capability in the region and to serve the growing needs for all types of water and wastewater transport,” said Sam Yamdagni, president of ITT Corp India Private Ltd.
