Ruhrpumpen adds new ANSI, end-suction low flow pump

01 August 2011

Ruhrpumpen has developed a new ANSI, end-suction low flow centrifugal pump to its standard product line. The CPP-L is the low flow version of the CPP-21 and has been designed to fill the gap on the low flow side of the CPP-21 range.

The new pump complies with the ANSI B73.1 atandard and this pump can be used to replace existing equipment without any problem. There will be no need for piping or base changes.

With low flow applications it is important to reduce the thrust load and seal chamber pressure, and Ruhrpumpen’s radial vane impellers for the CPP-L are specially designed to provide a better hydraulic control. With its balance holes it reduces the thrust load prolonging bearing and seal’s life.
