Power pump market worth US$3.5bn this year

The world’s power generation industry will purchase US$3.5 billion worth of pumps this year, with East Asian purchases alone exceeding US$1.2 billion.

According to the latest forecasts from the McIlvaine Co's Pumps World Markets, the NAFTA market will be worth US$320 million while the European power industry will buy US$558 million worth of pumps.

Centrifugal pumps will account for the majority of the power pump purchases at US$2307 million.
