Nikkiso to acquire Lewa

Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd has announced plans to buy German metering pump specialist Lewa GmbH.

Nikkiso will acquire Lewa from shareholders Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG), Quadriga Capital and Lewa management, through its consolidated subsidiary in Germany, Nikkiso Pumps Europe GmbH.

Founded in 1952, Lewa supplies precision metering pumps, high-performance process diaphragm pumps as well as complete metering systems and metering packages. The business has an annual turnover of approximately €145 million and 700 employees worldwide.
