Dover to relocate corporate HQ from New York to Chicago

Dover Corp is relocating its corporate headquarters from New York City to Downers Grove, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.

The decision to relocate its corporate headquarters to Chicago is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to bring its corporate management team under one roof to better facilitate communication and strategic decision making.

Robert Livingston, Dover’s president and chief executive officer said: “By consolidating our corporate management team, we can improve efficiencies across the organization. We believe that this is the right decision for Dover as we work to improve performance and create value for our shareholders and customers alike.”
 
The move will take place during the second quarter of 2010. Dover will maintain an office in New York City after the move.
 
Dover’s Pump Solutions Group includes Wilden, Blackmer, Neptune, Griswold, Mouvex and Almatec pumps.
