Ebara Futtsu pump plant starts operations

19 January 2010

Ebara Corp’s new Futtsu plant in Futtsu city, Chiba Prefecture, Japan is now fully operational.

The Futtsu facility, which has been relocated from the Haneda plant in Tokyo, manufactures custom pumps. The large pumps and high-pressure pumps primarily target the oil and gas, electric power generation and water infrastructure markets.

Ebara considers the Futtsu plant to be the mother plant of its global production network, leading and supporting its domestic and overseas production base.
