Iwaki America develops chemical process pumps with Teflon liners

02 February 2010

The MDW line of chemical process pumps from Iwaki America features PFA Teflon liners with silicon carbide bearings.

The chemical process pumps have flows of up to 1,300 GPM and TDH of over 300 ft.

The pumps from Iwaki America incorporate fluoroplastic and ceramic wetted parts which help improve resistance to virtually every industrial chemical, regardless of concentration. The pumps also have high strength ductile cast iron external armour for heavy duty chemical process applications. High casing pressure resistance is achieved with a rear casing design, preventing stress concentration with a triple-layer structure.
