Southern Water selects Mono EZstrip pumps for UK sludge treatment centre

Southern Water has installed six Mono EZstrip maintain in place pumps at its Millbrook sludge treatment centre (STC) in Southampton, UK.

The Mono EZstrip pumps will transfer sludges at different stages in the process, including centrifuge feed, digester feed and cake dilution.

Carl Smith, section leader at Southern Water's Millbrook STC, said: “We have a preferred supplier agreement with NOV Mono and the EZstrip is our preferred standard asset. We have installed six EZstrip pumps at our site in Millbrook because of the de-ragging benefits they offer our operators.”
