Syrris syringe pump offers smoother flow

15 March 2010

Syrris has developed the Asia syringe pump for flow chemistry applications.

The Asia syringe pump from Syrris features a pressurized input store which enables four reagents to be stored under an inert gas atmosphere. This improves the smoothness of the flow due to the 1 bar pressure significantly reducing the formation of gas bubbles.

The Asia syringe pump is rated to 20 bar (300 psi) and chemically resistant using PTFE (and other fluorinated polymers) and glass. The module offers two independent continuous flow channels, each with an integrated pressure sensor and a flow rate range from 1.0 µl to 10 ml/min. The Asia syringe pump from Syrris is 23 cm wide, making it suitable for in-lab use.
Flow rate and volume can be controlled using the intuitive front panel, or via software. The PTFE pressure sensor automatically stops the pumps in the case of over pressure.
