The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) will be hosting the first Taiwan International Water Week (TIWW) at the Taipei World Trade Center from 26-28 September.

Taiwan puts a high priority on smart water technologies with annual exports of pumps, valves, pipes, meters and water purifiers exceeding US$2 billion. The country’s investment in water infrastructure aims to target smart water management and water reclamation and supply 10% of all water resources by 2030.

TIWW will showcase products from 150 exhibitors and co-organiser, the Water Resources Agency (WRA) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, will hold a Water for the Future forum, where experts and industry leaders from around the world will share their experiences. There will also be a Water Industry Pavilion, led by the WRA, and including the Water Environment Recycling Association, Sinotech Engineering Consultants, National Taiwan University, and Chung Yuan Christian University.

TAITRA will be hosting government procurement meetings for water resources and business meetings.  It has invited buyers from all over the world to attend face-to-face meetings with exhibitors to build global partnerships.

TIWW will take place in Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center and Circular Economy Taiwan and the Taiwan Innotech Expo will take place alongside TIWW.
