Grundfos’s Dan Story named president of Water Systems Council

Dan Story, Grundfos business development director of Water Intake, is the new president of the Water Systems Council.

A national nonprofit organization, the Water Systems Council’s mission is to protect and promote well water systems. Story has been a member of the Water Systems Council’s board of directors for nine years.

“It’s an incredible honour to be named the president of an organization that does so much to protect and promote the groundwater industry,” said Story. “Private wells are an underutilized resource in addressing our water infrastructure problems in the US. We as an industry must educate the general public on modern water well systems and how they are very effective in delivering safe, clean water to Americans.”

A third-generation groundwater professional, Story has worked at Grundfos for 17 years. From 2012 to 2020, he served as the company’s vice president of sales for groundwater and irrigation business in the US. As vice president of business development, Story oversees global business development for the groundwater, irrigation, solar and flood control markets.
