Turkish pump manufacturer Masdaf has developed smart pump technologies to combat water and energy wastage in industries, hospitals and schools and help fight the climate crisis.

According to the United Nations, the world faces a 40% water shortfall by 2030 and Masdaf’s general manager, Vahdettin Yirtmaç has spoken out about the importance of pump technologies to combat the climate crisis.  He said: “It’s possible to prevent the waste of water and energy in buildings and operations with smart pump technologies.” He added that Masdaf is playing a key role with smart pump technologies that manage water in the fight against water crisis that threatens us all.

One example of Masdaf’s smart technologies is its GenIO pump drivers that can be used from a single pump to a six-pump system and offer the Internet of Things (IoT) in pump systems that require constant pressure. They also offer control with instant access to outdoor units (such as building automation system or PLC) with the Mod-Bus communication protocol and a remote access feature.
