Pentair becomes pure-play water company with completion of nVent separation

Pentair plc has separated from its Electrical business, and is now a pure-play water company with smart, sustainable water solutions for homes, businesses, industry and communities.

The Electrical business is called nVent Electric plc, a new independent, publicly-traded company. nVent shares will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on 1 May 2018, under the symbol NVT
