KSB will be demonstrating a pump model with integrated efficiency calculator clearly demonstrates, how many kilowatt-hours of electricity and ultimately costs can be saved with new pump technology compared with older technology.
The achievable potential savings can be attributed to several effects: the more efficient motor, flow-optimized fittings and a needs-based frequency control. With such actions an energy saving potential in a rough range of 30 - 50% may be achieved, depending on the application requirement.
