The German pump company says that by investing in the Dubai economic hub, it is acknowledging the region’s growing prominence and responding to the growing requirements of the market.
The 8000 sq m Wilo complex will have its own assembly line as well as office space, showrooms, a logistics centre and dedicated Wilo-Academy training rooms.
“The role of the city as a platform and logistic hub for trade in the Middle East, Dubai’s efficient infrastructure by land, sea and air and the long-term economic stability offered by this country were the crucial factors tipping the balance in favour of investing here. The construction is scheduled for completion in early 2018,” said Carsten Krumm, chief operating officer (COO) of Wilo SE.
