Xylem takes WEFTEC visitors through water cycle

WEFTEC is taking place this week and Xylem is inviting visitors to its stand on a journey through the water cycle to showcase how the company’s integrated portfolio could solve today’s most pressing water issues.

Called the Opportunity of a Lifetime, attendees can sign up for a guided tour to show how Xylem can help with smart water management across the water cycle. Tour requests must be submitted before 12 noon each day. Issues covered include operating strategy costs and labour, stormwater and flooding, ageing infrastructure, stressed water supply and regulatory compliance.

This year, WEFTEC attendees are also challenged to join Xylem Watermark’s commitment to solving the world’s water crisis through education, disaster response and access to clean water. Visitors are encouraged to fill out a water drop from the Xylem booth outlining how they are contributing to solving water. For every drop submitted, Xylem Watermark will make a US$10 donation in their name to one of three projects that align with the programme’s three areas of focus.

Each project will be implemented in conjunction with one of Watermark’s core partners, which are Mercy Corps, EarthEcho and Planet Water.
