Xylem has a mobile app version of its Xylem ‘Dewatering Handbook’. The app provides customers with access to dewatering, water removal and flood control pump product information from any location. Customers can select products from Xylem’s Flygt and Godwin brands using a smartphone.
The Xylem Dewatering Handbook app is available free for download at the iTunes App Store.
Available in the English language for iOS devices, customers can search by product type and find a set of calculators for friction loss, pressure, power and flow conversion. The app will also be available for Android devices in the coming weeks.
Commenting on the new app, Andrew Jones, head of Xylem’s dewatering business said, “Water removal and flood control demands a 24/7, customer-centric, responsive dewatering partner. Our customers predominantly work on site and being able to access information on the move is important to them.”
The app also features a GPS enhanced ‘locate and contact us’ function which allows the user to find a Xylem representative in close proximity to where they are located.
