Membership of Orgalime gives Europump access to the Orgalime extranet and task forces. Europump will also benefit from the Orgalime network of contacts among trade associations, legislators and EU personnel.
“As an engineer with experience of R&D, I know that individual organisations can suffer from a failure to share data among themselves. You need to open up and break the silo mentality so that knowledge flows and everyone benefits. This is what we want to achieve with associate membership, thereby gaining competitive advantage at global level for our companies and being the reference point in European politics for pump-related matters,” said Dr Soenke Brodersen, Europump president.
Established in 1960, Europump represents 18 national pump associations in 15 EU member states, Turkey, Russia and Switzerland. Europump members represent more than 450 companies.
