WEG launches new motor range at SPS/IPC/Drives 2012

WEG is claiming that its new motors are the only complete standard range of electric motors available on the market that meets the yet-to-be-ratified IE4 regulations.

The show takes place in Nuremberg, Germany, between 27 – 29 November. Visitors to the Stand 250, Hall 3, will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations of the new motor and meet WEG’s technical specialists, who will be on hand to discuss the latest innovations in electric motors and challenges faced in electric automation.

In addition to the new energy efficient motor, WEG will be displaying its range of electric motors, including its W22X flameproof motor for hazardous area applications that meets IE2 or IE3 regulations. The company will also be launching the new CFW500 inverter drive which has been designed for all industries, and will also show a selection of drives and controls for many industrial applications.
