The Czech company Sigma Group signed the contract with the Russian Nuclear Power Agency for the supply of emergency pumps of the 2nd unit of Novovoronezh NPP-2, said the report of the agency.
The cost of this contract according to the document is EUR2 million, but only during "the last 4 years the company Sigma has supplied for Russian nuclear power plants (NPPs) equipment of a total value of over EUR30 million".
The equipment produced by this company is available not only for the already operating NPPs in Russia, such as, for example Leningrad, Kalinin, Balakovo and Beloyarsk NPPs, but also in nuclear power plants that are being built by Russian projects in other countries, for example, the Indian nuclear power plant "Kudankulam".
At the same time in case if the tender for the construction of the 3rd and 4th units of NPP "Temelin" in the Czech Republic will be wined by the Czech-Russian consortium "MIR.1200" the company "Sigma Group" will receive an order for supplying of pumps of the total value over 1.1 billion U.S., according to the document.
