Follens has headed up Vacuum Technique and been a member of Atlas Copco’s group management since 2017. He joined the group in 1995 and held several positions in purchasing, supply chain and general management before his current role.
The Vacuum Technique business area provides vacuum products, exhaust management systems, valves and related products, and service. Vacuum products include a broad range of dry pumps, turbomolecular pumps and other vacuum pumps.
The recruitment of Follens’ successor will start soon. Follens will remain in his current role until the end of December 2024 to ensure an orderly transition.
