Edwards’ vacuum products, including pumps, and abatement solutions are used in a range of industrial applications such as the manufacture of semiconductors and flat panel displays.
The acquired business is now part of Atlas Copco’s new Vacuum Solutions division within the Swedish company’s Compressor Technique business area.
Following the acquisition, Edwards has been delisted from the NASDAQ stock exchange.
