Headquartered in Zibo, in China’s Shandong province, Shangdong Jinggong Pump operates under the brand name Chinco. The company was founded in 1998 and has 100 employees. In 2021, Shangdong Jinggong Pump had revenues of approximately US$12 million.
“Shangdong Jinggong Pump is an agile company with a strong manufacturing setup and high-quality standards,“ said Geert Follens, president of Atlas Copco’s Vacuum Technique business area. “The acquisition is in line with our local-for-local strategy and adds an experienced manufacturing and machining company in China”.
The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2022.
