After 45 years in the pump industry, BJM Pumps president Ron Woodward has retired from full-time work effective 30 March 2018.
The BJM management team will now report to Brian Comiskey who joined the company last December. Comiskey has an engineering and operations background with Idex Corp and most recently with Parker Hannifin.
Woodward will maintain an office at BJM Pumps for now and will continue to support the management team where needed on a part-time basis.
Old Saybrook, Connecticut-headquartered BJM Pumps supplies submersible pumps for demanding applications in industrial and municipal/wastewater environments, and for dewatering in mining, construction, fire-damaged sites and power generation pumping.
Private equity firm May River Capital acquired the US submersible pump provider last year.
