Among the products on display will be the Bornemann SLH 4G twin screw pump. This is the fourth-generation model of the single-flow self- priming pump since the original was introduced 20 years ago. The new model comes with additional improvements in the hygienic design of the pump and increased pressure capability that further enhance the pumping process. It is used in industries, including chemicals, food & beverages, pharmaceuticals, convenience, diary, and cosmetics.
The SLH is designed for handling more viscous fluids, including food and juice concentrates, and convenience foods such as ketchup and chocolate. In addition, a growing application of the SLH is in the meat processing industry.
The SLH 4G pump was recently displayed at Vision Pharma 2013, a forum the pharmaceutical industry. This was the first industry event for ITT Bornemann since it became part of ITT last November.
“I am excited to add Bornemann Pumps’ food handling capability in the more viscous fluids to complement the Goulds Pumps’ centrifugal models that are used for general purpose applications in this industry,” said Robert J. Pagano Jr., President of ITT’s Industrial Process business.
