Denmark’s DESMI A/S is strengthening its presence in the Italian market, with the opening of an office in Genoa.
The new office, which is legally a representative office of DESMI Pumping Technology A/S, will be headed by Simone Carluccio from 1 June 2021. Carluccio joins DESMI from the company’s Italian agent FGS (Fluid Global Solutions). He is already familiar with DESMI’s products in the marine segment, such as ballast water management systems, engine room pumps, scrubber pumps and automation solutions.
“Italy is a very important market for DESMI, which it has been for years, and we see a great potential in serving the increasing and important number of customers in the Italian shipping industry,” said Henrik Sørensen, CEO of DESMI Group.
