Ebara funds award for high school students

Ebara is joining Science Castle 2020, one of Asia’s largest scientific societies for high school students, with the launch of the Ebara Corporation Award.

Science Castle was started in 2012 by Leave a Nest Co Ltd for high school students who engage in research and development.

The Ebara Corporation Award will support junior and senior high school students’ research related to “flow”. Four selected projects will each receive a ¥150 000 grant for scientific research. The four teams will also be mentored by Ebara researchers.

The application deadline is 19 June 2020. Interviews will take place online and the selection results will be announced towards the end of July 2020.

The research period will run to December 2020. Research results will be presented at the Science Castle in Tokyo 19–20 December 2020.
