The pump manufacturer hopes that the new office will serve as a source of inspiration, keeping the company’s business development on the cutting edge of industry trends.
Henrik Skov Laursen, formerly the head of the Grundfos Water Technology Center in Fresno, California, will take charge of the new Silicon Valley innovation office.
“Silicon Valley is more than a hub for IT – it is the key place for cleantech,” explained Laursen. “As Grundfos works to pioneer new technologies and remain a trendsetter in water technologies, we must locate ourselves in an environment which thrives on creating the next big thing. We strongly believe this can be found right here in Silicon Valley.”
The new Grundfos office will focus on new water technologies, sustainable building efficiency and smart applications and new business development including device connectivity and digital services.
