The Hydraulic Institute (HI) recently announced the availability of its HI Pump Systems Matter (PSM) Basic Training platform to non-member organisations, allowing professionals to access to critical insights to boost reliability, optimise efficiency and reduce pump system costs.
Companies can subscribe to the platform as a general planning resource or use the webinars and other tools for the training and development of its professionals. Offered as an annual subscription platform, the programme’s pricing structure is based on the number of users in an organisation.
The PSM Basic Training webinars and materials impart key fundamentals on a variety of pump types and potential design challenges including bearing isolators, expansion joints, mechanical seals, induction motors, variable frequency drives, variable speed pumping and US DOE Conservation Standard.
Michael Michaud, executive director, Hydraulic Institute, said: “Whether a municipality, public utility or a pump system distributor, it is so important to empower decision-makers across industries to learn and assert the latest best practices in building their systems.”
Additional information can be found on the Basic Training website or by contacting Matthew Derner, manager, Business Development, Pump System Programs, mderner@pumps.org.
