Based in Goessnitz (Thuringia), Germany, Apollo Goessnitz’s products include API and DIN centrifugal pumps and related spare parts, as well as integrated pump-based systems for oil refining, offshore and onshore upstream, thermal power generation, chemical and utility applications.
In 2011, Apollo Goessnitz had sales of €20.3 million and net profit of €1.3 million.
HMS Group will pay €25 million in cash for 75% of Apollo Goessnitz’s share capital. Apollo Goessnitz’s management will remain part of the integrated team that will continue to run the business once the deal is sealed.
