Along with increasing the plant’s overall efficiency, ITT will be able to offer enhanced quality processes and test capabilities for the oil and gas market, as well as expanded product lines including API-certified overhung and between bearing pumps. The facility also offers additional slurry valves and pumps for mining customers.
“Brazil and Latin America are important markets for ITT, and this project represents our commitment to expanding our global presence in key growth areas,” said Robert Pagano Jr, president of the ITT’s Industrial Process business.
“Across the region, we are continuing to build our customer relationships, and these new capabilities will allow us to respond with the highly engineered products and services that meet customer needs and expectations,” said Miguel Otarola, director of Latin America for the Industrial Process business. “We are also excited that with our modernized facility we will be able to enhance our support to customers not only in Brazil but throughout Latin America.”
