Cryogenic submerged motor pump manufacturer JC Carter has supplied eight third generation, high-efficiency liquid natural gas (LNG) pumps to the Sines LNG terminal expansion in Portugal.
The pump delivery included five low-pressure and three high-pressure JC Carter pumps.
The Sines LNG terminal is owned and operated by REN Atlantico. The expansion was contracted by Germany’s TGE Gas Engineering Germany, and constructed by Belgium’s Tractebel Engineering International.
