Miniature component specialist, The Lee Company, has launched a new video entitled Innovation in Miniature.
The 2.5-minute video showcases The Lee Company’s one million square foot site with the latest manufacturing facilities, based in Westbrook, Connecticut in the US. The Lee Company’s products include a wide range of fluids handling components such as valves, pumps, nozzles, tubing, fittings and manifolds. The company’s miniature components are used in aviation, aerospace, automotive, medical and the oil exploration industries
One example of The Lee Company’s products is the recent introduction of a new range of miniature positive displacement pumps, which feature a new radial piston design that allows for self-priming at altitude and reduces cavitation. The 200 Series Pumps are driven by a powerful brushless DC motor and qualified for 1,000 hours of operation. They measure just 124mm in overall length and are designed for the demands of aerospace and other hi-tech applications.
