The pump will be introduced at the IFAT Entsorga show which takes place from 7-11 May in Munich, Germany.
The new version eliminates any possibility of transmission damage due to leakage or contamination. It also has a longer service life than any other rotary lobe pump due to the exchange of the lobe and housing materials. Free access to the pump chamber through to the piping flange allows simpler and faster assembly.
Netzsch’s Tornado rotory lobe pumps can pump solids up to 70 mm in diameter and are shear sensitive. They have high suction lift capability - up to 8 mwc, dry running capability and reversible flow. A wide range of viscosities, from 1 mPas up to 1 million mPas, can be pumped. They feature Netzsch’s Gearbox Security System which provides positive separation between pump head/product seals and pump gear box.
