The award is presented annually to a leader in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) for transformation, ingenuity and excellence.
“STEM education opens the door to help solve the world’s most pressing challenges. It encourages people to think big and to pursue new ideas, and it allows a company like ITT to develop new, practical solutions that impact all of our lives,” said Ramos.
“At ITT, we are constantly looking for ways to engage and empower the next generation of engineering talent – and organizations like NYSCI are critical to encouraging creativity, building excitement and developing our next generation of leaders.”

Ramos received the award at NYSCI’s annual gala in New York City. The event marked NYSCI’s 50th anniversary.
