The Open University study programme ‘Pump.Ing’ is recruiting attendees for its March 2015 programme, which will be in English.
The programme equips professionals with specialised knowledge on pump technology, pump operation and pump systems. Its ‘Pump Engineer’course provides knowledge on the perfect design and operation of pumps by offering theoretical basics as well as specific process, and plant-related knowledge for various industries.
It is in cooperation with professors from the Graz University of Technology, Technical University Berlin and the Erlangen University.
The course has periods of self-study and examinations which can be completed aside by those who have full-time jobs. There are only a few attendance phases in Austria and Germany as well as in different plants of pump users for special fields of applications.
