The Slurry Knife Wafer (SKW) valve was originally developed for use in industries such as oil and gas and mining but now it has been adapted to operate at full bore with no flow restrictions, making it ideal for corrosive fluids—such as mineral slurries—to move without compromising performance, even in harsh conditions.
It has also been designed as a full port fluid control device requiring less pumping energy to operate.
Features include a cast single-piece body which eliminates leaks and a tower construction that will accept manual, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic operation.
Now the company is targeting all major mining and power plants in North America as it looks to develop its market.
