“Safety is the utmost concern in the nuclear industry and it’s an area in which SPX Flow and EDF share a commitment to innovate and enhance safety systems,” said Christophe Bouvet, managing director of SPX Flow’s nuclear centre of excellence in Annecy. “I can’t overstate the importance of strong mutual collaboration in the nuclear industry at the moment and we remain firmly committed to the partnership we have built with EDF over the last 40 years or so.”
SPX Flow has developed a number of post-Fukushima products that are enhancing the safety systems of nuclear power plants around the world, including the TWL pump and squib valve.
