The acquisition strengthens Sulzer’s activities in the water market in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, adding a new manufacturing, assembly and service facility in Spain and complementary products to the pump range.
Based in Burgos, Spain, Hidrotecar had sales of €13 million in 2010 and 50 employees.
