At this year’s Power-Gen Europe, customers will be able to hear about Sulzer’s latest projects and hear about their acquisition of Envisal Moret (EM). Sulzer will discuss their operations of fossil-fired, including combined-cycle; nuclear; and renewable power generation projects. Sulzer offers parts and repairs to gas and steam turbines as well as for motors and generators. The company supplies pumps for the nuclear and turbine islands, as well as safety-related pumps. Customers can choose single pumps or total systems solutions. Sulzer can produce pumps and string tests, including the simulation of the plant’s system curve.
Sulzer acquisition
Ensival Moret (EM) was acquired by Sulzer, which completed the acquisition in early 2017. At the show, customers can learn about the combined complementary product portfolio for concentrated solar power (CSP) and most industrial process applications. Sulzer has created the BLUE BOXTM system which identifies bad-performing pumps equipment. This aims to reduce maintenance and energy costs.
