The event taking place on 4-5th April 2017 in Prague, Czech Republic, is designed to gather hydropower Industry stakeholders to discuss the current status and prospects for sustainable hydropower development.
Topics will include:
- Energy storage in the EU regulatory framework;
- Enlarging the scope of sustainability assessments of hydro power systems;
- Recent trends in equipment, design and technology to increase the flexibility of hydropower;
- Maintenance strategy approach and innovative methods for life extension: reduce risks and minimize costs.
A particular focus will be the issue of hydropower plant pumped storage upgrades.
