Established in 1934, Davey offers water solutions, including pumps and filters, for homes and gardens, farms and irrigation, pools and spas, building service, fire protection, commercial irrigation, wastewater removal and water treatment.

Davey has a 2,700 sq m manufacturing plant in Scoresby, Victoria, and a 4,700 sq m raw materials warehouse. The company also has a large research and development team in Australia involved in engineering and product development with a strong focus on water scarcity, energy efficiency, and smart connected products.

The acquisition allows Waterco to expand its presence in new markets and regions where Davey has a strong foothold, such as particular geographic areas of Australia, Europe and the Middle East.

Waterco will also gain access to a broader range of products and technologies including pumps for water transfer, conservation, filtration, and treatment needs, as well as a reputable range of water treatment products.

“The acquisition aligns with Waterco's long-term strategic vision of becoming a global leader in the water technology industry,” says Waterco founder, executive chairman and CEO Soon Sinn Goh. “Waterco’s extensive distribution into North America and the European Union will further enhance Davey’s pre-existing reach in Europe.”

The transaction is expected to be completed on 1 September 2023.
