The new 5,000 sq m market partner meeting centre at Wilopark will soon hold a water summit, an AI and sustainability conference, and a procurement conference.
“The Networking Cube will be a place to exchange knowledge, forge and deepen partnerships, and thus make a sustainable difference,” said Oliver Hermes, president & CEO of the Wilo Group.
The Networking Cube has a 191-sq-m LED wall made up of over 50 million pixels, which surrounds the atrium on the ground floor of the building on three sides. Throughout the complex, visitors have access to numerous state-of-the-art meeting rooms and interaction areas. This also includes the White Room on the roof, which is surrounded by a green roof terrace. The green roof merges with the south façade of the Networking Cube, which is designed as a vertical garden. The cloakroom in the basement is a symbolic reminder of the roots of the Wilo Group, which was founded in 1872: visitors store their jackets in containers that are lowered from the ceiling, resembling those found in pithead baths in coal mines.
The opening of the Networking Cube marks the completion of the penultimate building phase of the Wilopark construction project. The Health Cube is scheduled to open in 2026.
Once construction work is complete, the approximately 200,000 sq m Wilopark will comprise five main buildings: the Smart Factory, the Pioneer Cube administration building, the Innovation Cube research and development centre, the Networking Cube, and the Health Cube. Wilo has invested over €400 million in the development of the Wilopark site.
