The DWEER units will recover energy from the high-pressure brine stream of the seawater reverse osmosis process at the dsealination plant.
This is the second major Hyflux order for Flowserve DWEER units in the last year. In August 2010, Flowserve announced an order for DWEER energy recovery systems for the Salalah Independent Water and Power Plant (Salalah IWPP) in Oman.
