Wilo Group continues to strengthen its position in the Russian market with the opening of the new plant for the production of pumps in the Moscow Oblast of the country, according to the report of the company.
For the German company the construction of the plant will be one of the stages of the long-term expansive strategy. The project also involves the construction and equipment of logistics center and administration buildings. Total area of buildings under the project is 16 000m².
According to the report, the plant will be a clear example of the practical use of so-called green building technologies. In addition the company will provide jobs for about 400 people in the region. Completion of the construction and commissioning of the plant scheduled for the 2015-2016 year. The cost of the project will be about EUR30mln.
New plant will let the company to localize the production and increase its in Russia. The main targeting market will be the European part of Russia, but the company will also supply pumps to all regions of the country.
