Australia’s Babylon Pump & Power Ltd is to supply and install power generation and dewatering pumping equipment for mining company BHP Billiton.
The works are expected to begin immediately, with commissioning scheduled for November 2018.
The initial contract, which will run for a minimum term of six months, is expected to contribute around A$670 000 to Babylon Pump & Power’s revenue for FY19.
The Babylon Pump & Power board is optimistic that the existing contract will continue on a rolling basis at the end of the initial six month term.
