Sealing specialist John Crane has opened a wet seals service centre in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in partnership with its local distributor Khanh Linh Equipment and Engineering JSC.
The new Ho Chi Minh facility, located near Vietnam’s oil and gas and fertilizer hub, will allow John Crane to provide additional capabilities including aftermarket support, quick turnaround service and downtime cost reductions.
“John Crane has been supporting customers in Vietnam for more than 25 years,” said Raj Mane, John Crane’s general manager for Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Brunei and Myanmar. “Our continuous investment in local capabilities, along with the request from customers for increased local support with a higher level of technology and service differentiation, clearly marked our strategy to commit to this investment.”

Khanh Linh has represented John Crane in Vietnam for nearly 12 years, providing a range of products and multidisciplinary services to oil and gas customers within the region.
