Lewa GmbH has sold its Norwegian subsidiary Lewa Nikkiso Norway AS to Ellingsen Systems AS.
Ellingsen Systems will continue the branch office as a subsidiary under the name Pump Service AS. As part of the takeover, all ongoing contracts and customer and project obligations of Stavanger-based Lewa Nikkiso Norway AS have been transferred to Ellingsen.
Lewa established the Norwegian branch 11 years ago to better serve the Scandinavian market. There have been more than 1000 Lewa pumps installed in Norway alone, during the last 30 years.
“The takeover by Ellingsen Systems AS is a strategic measure to grow together as cooperation partners in the Scandinavian market in the future,” said Adolf Grossmann, regional managing director of Lewa. “Ellingsen is now the exclusive distributor for all Lewa products in Norway and the first contact person for our customers on site.”
The sale was completed on 22 October 2020 and is retroactive to 1 October 2020.
