The products manufactured in Brookshire will be moved to other factories within Sulzer Pumps Equipment’s global operations.
The global management of Sulzer’s Oil and Gas business unit and the activities for Parts, Retrofits and Nuclear (PRN) will continue to be located in Houston.
Sulzer says it is also considering closing its foundry in Kotka, Finland. This would not have any impact on the personnel of the other units of Sulzer Pumps Finland Oy.
